    This 30 minute class will keep you on your toes with it's constantly changing programming, using all of our freestyle equipment from Zone 3, including kettlebells, bosu balls, ViPRs, medicine balls, rowers and bodyweight exercises.

    For those of you looking to learn more of the technical skils involved in boxing, this showcase workshop is for you. Run by expert boxing trainer, Matt Brien, this class is sure to be a hit in more ways than one!

     

    Matt is a highly regarded trainer and we have brought him in specifically to take this class. He brings a mix of boxing technique, agility drills, ladder work and guarding to give you a great workout and some boxing education.

    A fresh new variation on our High Intensity Interval Training, this version splits members into teams of 4 as they move through 7 different stations Every Minute On the Minute (EMOM) for a total of 3 rounds.

    We are bringing sports science to Zone 6 with our new XT Power class.

    This class will help you develop both strength and power by using what is known as Contrast Loading. This is the type of training that elite athletes will use in their training sessions and involves a very heavy set of 5 reps of a particular exercise, immediately followed by and explosive and powerful exericse for 20 reps, using the exact same body part.

     

    We have turned this training into a fantastic partner workout using the contrast principles, and will have you looking and performing better than ever before.

  • AMPT

    About: AMPT (30mins)

    Time 7:00 - 7:30

    AMPT is a more social take on the class formally known as XT Challenge.

    AMPT stands for Adaptive Movement and Performance Training.

    This is the most challenging class at The Zone, and requires a minimum of at least an intermediate knowledge of barbell work.

    Each night at 8pm the workout for the next day will be released on our Facebook Page. We encourage members to post their scores and time back to the Facebook post to create friendly competition and banter.

    All workouts will have their very own name. This way, when you repeat them in the future, you can see if you have beaten your previous score.

    Please ensure you have completed XT Circuit and XT Wildcard before attending AMPT

    XT Wilcard is a barbell circuit where the instructor gets to choose the exercises on the day. This ensures complete variety and enjoyment, as no 2 workouts are ever the same. This variety is a fantastic way to keep your body guessing and forcing it to grow fitter and stronger through many different exercises.

    This format is an amazing way to develop strength, power, agility, coordination and mobility while buring body fat and learning new skills.

    This class is not for beginners, so please try the other versions of XT first!

    This Barbell Circuit class introduces members to Zone 6 by utilising the big basic movements in a circuit setting. This class combines kettlebell work, squats, lunges, deadlifts, overhead press and chin ups with other bodyweight exercises for the ultimate circuit challenge. Suitable for people who are focused on increasing fat loss and lean muscle toning.

  • AMPT

    About: AMPT (30mins)

    Time 18:00 - 18:30

    AMPT is a more social take on the class formally known as XT Challenge.

    AMPT stands for Adaptive Movement and Performance Training.

    This is the most challenging class at The Zone, and requires a minimum of at least an intermediate knowledge of barbell work.

    Each night at 8pm the workout for the next day will be released on our Facebook Page. We encourage members to post their scores and time back to the Facebook post to create friendly competition and banter.

    All workouts will have their very own name. This way, when you repeat them in the future, you can see if you have beaten your previous score.

    Please ensure you have completed XT Circuit and XT Wildcard before attending AMPT

    About: XT Power (30mins)

    Time 19:00 - 19:30

    We are bringing sports science to Zone 6 with our new XT Power class.

    This class will help you develop both strength and power by using what is known as Contrast Loading. This is the type of training that elite athletes will use in their training sessions and involves a very heavy set of 5 reps of a particular exercise, immediately followed by and explosive and powerful exericse for 20 reps, using the exact same body part.

     

    We have turned this training into a fantastic partner workout using the contrast principles, and will have you looking and performing better than ever before.
