    Recommended 15 minute class before HIIT/ XT. Self Myofascial Release (SMR) is a term used to describe self massage where the member controls where and how much pressure is applied. Every structure in the body is covered in a layer of fascia – think of fascia as a glad wrap type sheath that covers all structures within the body. Through overuse, lack of use or via injury, adhesions can form  in fascia which can cause pain and discomfort. The RELEASE class will work on the principle of applying pressure to  adhesions to improve movement and reduce tension and pain.

  • Recover Blast

    Time 8:15 - 8:30

    While static stretching prior to exercise is slowly giving way to mobility exercises, there is still some research to suggest that static stretching, held for 30-60 seconds post workout,  has some benefits. Most people will underestimate the volume of stretching required to reverse a sedentary lifestyle - in conjunction with our other programs, static stretching can still play a part in improving mobility. The RECOVER class will use a combination of traditional stretching methods and gentle mobilisation movements to support recovery  and minimise the risk of injury.

    Develop core strength with boxing techniques and drills; an all over cardio and strength training workout, it helps improve endurance, co-ordination and stamina.

    Allowing you to develop superior upper body strength, core strength, quickness and agility, cardiovascular fitness and improved posture all at the same time, boxing classes is great for all ages and fitness levels.

    Boxing is also great for stress relief. You'll also get an intense workout while improving your core strength at the same time.

    We recommend that you bring your own boxing gloves. You can purchase our boxing gloves on our reception desk for $20.

    Time 18:30 - 19:00

    A lack of (or poor) movement produces a body that becomes de-conditioned and dysfunctional over time. Left unaddressed, this can increase the chance of injury when an individual applies intensity and load to a movement in order to progress. Doing this on an unstable foundation though is like building a house on quick sand. The REWIRE class focuses on exercises that require us to balance, stabilize and build a strong foundation from the feet up. Exercises will cross all 3 planes to restore optimal function. We are using VIPR and body weight exercices.
